In celebration of International Women’s Day, we wanted to honor three great women at Inovi Healthcare:
Nancy Mazepa who runs our Warehouse and Distribution operations
Karen Mullervy, RN, BSN who runs our Mid-Atlantic Sales
Amy Villars, BOS. who runs our Western Region, Barrier Free Access and VP of Clinical Services.
We three are excited to work for Inovi Healthcare and Barrier Free Access. This is a great place to work where women are part of the team, contribute every day to the team and lead the team. And through Inovi Healthcare we have a platform to help organizations and now homes, all over the country provide safer work environments for their caregivers and patients. We love waking up every day and coming to work where this is a passion, not a job.
And we want to celebrate all of the women everywhere who help our great US healthcare system run every day from the front lines to the C suite.
And we also want to celebrate all the women at home who are matriarchs and in many homes are also the primary caregivers for a spouse or loved one. Being a caregiver can be a very taxing and physically demanding job that can also result in injuries. Because of this, we are excited to announce that we are now offering a home accessibility program to help anyone recovering or aging at home make their daily activities easier and safer. These activities include simply getting in and out of bed and/or a chair, sitting on a toilet, getting into and out of a bathtub or shower, etc. We have equipment not generally covered by Medicare/Medicaid that will greatly improve the independence and ease of staying at home.
